I just watched in awe, I cannot understand the mindset period of people that would do any of that. I went to the store here yesterday, but, I wasn't even thinking Black friday, but then we don't get crowds like that in the stores I've gone to. When picked up the few items I needed was second in line was called over to be first in line at another register and this was at a Walmart. I knew ahead there wouldn't be any crowds, so I wasn't worried. And everyone was polite anytime we wandered into each others path. I know that wouldn't happen in a lot of places, nor would I probably have gone out if I lived in a heavily populated area. I wasn't out holiday shopping, just needed a few staples that I forgot to pick up before the holiday and I needed to replenish.
Plus, I can go up the street and around the corner to Ross, Marshalls, Bed Bath and Beyond if I need to pick up a quick gift for someone, but I'm don't really do much of the gift thing anymore unless attending an event where there some kind of exchange expected. At one point, I just started saying I was a Jehovah's witness. Im sure as the day gets nearer, I will be picking up a couple of gifts for a couple of my gal friends that are overly sentimental.
