Had TMS consultation today

To qualify for TMS treatment for medication resistant depression one must have used at least 3 different antidepressant medications Insurance does not cover bipolar depression, treatments are 30 minutes, 5 days a week for 37 days, round trip driving distance is 82 miles. 1 hour each way. If insurance approves I will start treatments after September 15.

Traveling back and forth for treatments will rack up the miles on my lease car.

My son has treatment resistant depression. He's had 56 electric shock treatment, been on 26 medications and combination, etc. Nothing helps, except mildly and not for long.

If you get this treatment, I will be interested to see if it helps you. I sure hope it does!
