I had nightmares about this sequence from Jason and the Argonauts (1963) as a a kid …

Lyrics from a song I sang in elementary school:
”Halloween’s coming, Halloween’s coming!
Skeletons will be after you!
Witches, cats, and big black bats,
Ghosts and goblins, too…Boo!”

(You could never teach kids songs like this today. You’d be accused of traumatizing them, or “promoting Satanism in the schools…”

…but I had good, scary fun back then!)
