What a kind compliment, thank you. Our social life is born out of our love for dancing, as in Latin & Ballroom. Learning all ten disciplines takes time and patience. Some have likened it to learning a language or a musical instrument. All that dancing, socially and competitively, inevitably brings us into contact with like minded others. That brings with it, a wider social group of friends.

That said, when we were younger, our social life had to be planned well in advance. Reason being, my wife was, in her working life, a paramedic in the ambulance service. She worked a complex shift pattern, early starts, late starts, nights, weekends, public holidays. Yours truly became the house-husband. Cooking, cleaning, laundry and so on, but the lady would share those duties, bearing in mind that I worked and had a forty minute commute in each direction. But as you have observed, we have been happy with our lot.
