Have you ever watched the wonderfully funny cartoon film "The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!" ?
At one point, the pirate captain asks the question, " What's the best thing about being a pirate ?"
Answer, "Ham night" - at which he draws his sword, throws up a ham joint and slices it in mid air.
This has become a saying in our house when, as tonight, we're having a boiled ham joint for dinner.
