Making greeting cards is one of my fav papercrafting techniques. I'm starting this thread with one of my groom-to-bride cards. The focal point is a stamped cake image using one of my hand-carved, eraser stamps.

I cut the statements from an old book, embellished the card with rhinestones and wove wide, pink satin ribbon through slits that I cut.

I also added flat sequins, rhinestones and superfine craft glitter and marker embellishments.

I left the inside blank and added a craft paper panel on the left to camouflage the ribbon threading.

Now I know why you have that avatar. What a lovely card. What great talent.

You're a multi talented artist. You need to have your own store or do you already?

No. Just enjoying retirement. I design printables and digitals and list them in an online shop but they don't require packing and shipping. The customer downloads the file(s) to their computer and prints it out or uses it in digital creations. I now make physical handmades for my own use only and to give as gifts. Thanks for the nice compliments.

Seriously, you have a lot of talent in the arts and craft field! You deserve the recognition and the compliments! Well done!

Your wedding card is truly an original, many techniques that are so lovely.

I, too am a paper junkie, mostly cards. Send to family and friends and donate to various organizations like Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Here are 2 Halloween cards I made this weekend. My eyesight isn't the greatest but i cant give up this fun hobby so maybe my borders aren't quite even or there's some glue oozing somewhere but that's okay.

Those Halloween cards are awesome! They are very creative and I'm sure the kids will love them. Don't worry about your eyesight, Coco. Your cards are very impressive and the fact you donate them to hospitalized kids and other organizations makes you a very special person with a heart of gold. Keep up the great work. Kids and others will be thankful for them.❤️

Babs, did you paint those? They are so pretty! Watercolor, acrylic? The colors are so soothing. The cottage landscape looks very authentic, were you there? I'm so slow typing tou answered my questions. Lol.

regardless, your note cards are beautiful.

Thank you. Yes I was there. That is the Islip Grange on Long Island. It is near where I grew up.

Yes, it's not about perfection. It's about creativity and fun. 🎊That is cute pumpkin paper! And your split design is so eye-catching. I hope you will share more of your cards here.

This is so cute with the unusual dolphins hanging on the left. Is this from an actual scene or did you design it? I really like the way you painted the terra cotta planter. Such good watercolor shading on the design. The flowers really look like impatiens, my favorite annuals. I am so impressed by your watercolor skill. I'm sure your note cards make a beautiful set for gift-giving!

Thank you so much. I like watercolor because it is so immediate. I gave up oils years ago. That was on my front porch a few years back so I could paint it from life. Having those dolphins there was a fun extra.

I must qualify your statement and a successful business woman, too! I'm not making buckets of money, though that would be nice. I have a lot of experience with ecommerce and simple marketing and promotion. Just doing what I love everyday but not raking in the $$$. But I am very rich and blessed in living and promoting the creative life. 🎉🥳🎊
