Happy 4th of July ....

It is the 4th, and it is very hot here in South Carolina.
We are staying home and chilling. I'll fire up the grill this evening an make some real hamburgers.
So far, the highlight of my day has been dragging the garden hose around and giving our parched grass an additional drink. My wife groomed one of the dogs this afternoon while I napped.
We are also taking a break from the news since none of it is very uplifting.
It will be "movie night" in the Pecos residence tonight and the "furry ones" have scheduled an additional nap on the couch.

This is quite a change from the "old days."

Sounds quite nice Pecos. You're together, safe, have the pups to cuddle and yummy burgers. And a movie to top it off. Have fun... :)
