It's just me and Marley. I'd be happier if Marley wasn't limping. Her hips and joints are giving out, and I do wish I knew her real age. With rescues, one can only guess and I think I guessed all wrong. I'm giving her a few different meds.

If it's very cold I'll bring a hot Curry and Rice, sure to warm things up and some sweets to cool things down. I love a good party.

My friend and I went out to a nice restaurant for lunch and spent 4 hours together. It was a great way to finish 2024. Then I took the dogs for a walk.
Now in my pjs with my two dogs on my lap and having trouble staying awake

. We ate a Philly cheese steak sandwich and onion rings and zucchini sticks and watched The Madness on Netflix and then various shows on regular TV. We still haven't had our desert yet. Yes, that's a good thing to do especially when you feel alone.
My dog is taking an anti inflammatory for several things now. She's more chipper since she got on it. She can get on the couch most of the time too. She's a rescue too. It's only an estimate that she might be 14 or 15 now. I hope Marley gets better.

Happy New Year everyone! I actually went out last night for the first time in decades on NYE. Went to a local piano bar that I go to regularly. Even got dressed up. All the women wearing sequins and the men in hats. It was great fun.
