Hello everyone from the state of Maryland. I retired at the age of 58 beginning on January 1. My wife died 3 years ago after suffering for over a year with ALS.

Hi there, Silver Spoon. Sorry to read you lost your wife. I too am a widower ... lost my wife, Sue 2 years and 4 months ago to a massive heart attack, at age 66 after 48 years being happily married. She had also had 2 operations for lung cancer, as well as suffering through other conditions. Anyways, I'm in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, eh? And I've bin here for mebbe a week n'-a-half. Having lotsa fun, and meeting plenny of very nice people. If ya stick around, I know you'll like it too! Hope to see you around. Just jump in anywhere, eh?
