I love St Patrick's day.
St. Patrick arrived in Ireland in 431, and usedthe shamrock to teach Pagans about the Holy Trinity. So the patron saint of Ireland was trying to educate the natives about Christianity and plucking the leaves of the shamrock he showed that the three leaves represented the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The shamrock is now an Irish icon, recognized as the symbol of luck,which the Irish are known for the world over.
