Today we celebrate Thanksgiving in Canuckistan. I am having lots of peeps over for dinner and piano blues mania. Booze and BC Bud will be available for those so inclined. Happy day to all the Canucks on and off the board. Salut!

Thanks Ruth. Many Canucks serve turkey and the trimmings. I used to, but I am tired of it. Too many leftovers for me to use. Today, it is pot roast, major veg, home made rolls, salad, lemon shortcake, pumpkin and mince pies, all home made.

Thanks Ruth! Mine too. I have a recipe for the famous Canadian classic, Nanaimo Bars, if you would ever like to try something different. Basically, it is a cookie crumb/nut base, with a custard centre, topped with a layer of hardened dark chocolate. So popular, Walmart sells it by the sheet.
