Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. What are your plans? We have out of town guest, my son will be coming over. My daughter will be coming over..will be meeting her boyfriend for the first time,,,,yayyyyy :love: Also, a few other people. Not a big crowd but enough for Food and Fun!!!!
 

Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy the day! We're not doing anything special, just put a corned beef in the crock pot and will have that tomorrow on rye bread, with some wine that only comes out for a limited time once a year.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I was looking around the net for a catchy Happy Thanksgiving meme and ran across this (see below). I thought it was relevant being the beginning of the Holidays. I was homeless for a short while because of a house fire. Food is important but with all the churches, food banks and soup kitchens it is available. Personal hygiene items like soap, a tooth brush, tooth paste and deodorant that were donated to me made me feel like a human being again. It's about thirty days to Xmas. I need to get on the stick.

Everyone in our senior community, have a wonderful enjoyable 2021 Thanksgiving.

Am now on my way out the door on a 100 mile drive to a brother who has cooking talents with a 20 pound turkey in his oven as I type. I'm bringing the store bought pumpkin pie. Friday, aka Black Friday, we are tentatively set to drive out to a rocky shoreline of the Pacific Coast for a day of shore fishing, one of just 3 times this year I've gone fishing that he much enjoys.

Thanksgiving Wishes



Grateful thoughts deep from the heart

Do stir the mind and memories -



Of dear family and friends

Joined in the vulnerabilities of Life

Pursuing dreams untold

Reaching high above the fold

Struggling to maintain the status quo



Yet do remember to stop and pray

On this beautiful and inspiring day

To thank the Lord for all the blessings

No matter how small or large



To greet each other with love and good cheer

And sing together with one voice, united

Like angels from above

Our grateful hearts to fly above this earth

Today and every day!
