Happy things to bring you joy.

These are incredible! You didn't design and make these, did you? What exactly was your part? Setting them to music? Filming them? I can't wait to hear your answer!

I have nothing to do with Keith's creations - totally all his own amazing work, but I felt compelled to share them with all of you. (I hope my original post wasn't misleading - I do enjoy creating my own simple automata - which is no where near this skill set. yet ;))

I'd never seen this before. Ithought you did these. I thought "Holy cow! This guy is amazing!" Well, You're probably still amazing but . .
it seems like SO MUCH FUN!
Yes you made it clear. I tend to scan word so quickly, I often miss things.

Wow!!!!! That's ADORABLE!! What a talent!!! I guess I said this before but it looks like SO MUCH FUN! I would like to do these myself but I do sculpting and I had to give up a lot of my interests and focus on one or two things. I'm really impressed!
Did you cut the snowflakes, etc. witha scrollsaw?

Here's an artist that incorporates his sculpture into his automata - He's in a class all his own (Warning - It's dark in nature).

The floating islands and Castle - wow... some of my favorite things plus fun - architecture and classical music and awesome creativity! If I was rich.... sigh. I'll never be able to afford such treasures - I'm just grateful for the internet that lets me enjoy them.

I do appreciate the artistic talent and engineering that goes into projects such as these. It's amazing how many talented people are here on SF.

At first it seemed to interesting and then I delved around a bit.

I went to PRESS, then to LADYLAVONIA, then scrolled down to THE CHURCH OF SATAN.

What I read there is sickening, about what they seem to support - they are their own God, and in their view, man has created fictitious gods.

I think it is dangerous to fool around with this - I would beware.

I will not go to that site again!

This is fantastic work including yours Gardenlover. I have many music boxes that have some movement to them but nothing like this! I did look at the "dark site" and found it very disturbing. To bad the artist doesn't use his talent for better subject matter.
I'm thinking his brain is twisted to come up with these ideas.

It boggles my mind as to the man-hours involved in all the details of artomic's works. It must take months to finish just one.

Thanks for posting his site, Mike.

edit to add: I could see him making props for movies.

Yes, thus the warning before the link (I just went back and made it bold.) I haven't personally checked out all the links on the web site. I've just browsed the automata videos, which are dark. Thanks for alerting us that some of his links to other web sites are even darker than his.

What in the world? How is it this whole little world was going on and this is the first I've heard of it? Have I been under a rock?
No, just walking a different path.

Do a YouTube search on automata and you'll a wide range of skills.

It dawned on me that I must have the greatest car warrantee ever. For a few years now, people have been calling me that my warrantee is just about to expire, but it never does. Then a few weeks la, another caller tells me it still is about ready to expire.
