Originally the idea was to celebrate all types of love: Agape, Familial, Platonic as well as romantic. So wishing friends of any kind a happy Valentine's Day is in keeping with the spirit of the Saint it is named after.

I'm alone too, so sharing a poem I wrote for Valentine's Day:
Valentine’s Day
May pure beams of sunlight
Shower you with rays
And warm your soul and heart
On Valentine’s Day
May peaceful thoughts and dreams
Comfort you this day
And embrace your dear heart
In each and every way
May good friends bring delight
Singing and laughing
And building memorable
Bonds that are lasting
May these wishes reach you
To bring happiness
On this Valentine’s day
And fill you with bliss

Sorry that I'm late; I went out for some fresh air as I've been home for 5 weeks. Wore double masks. People were out like swarms of bees. I didn't even attempt to go to the grocery store as I couldn't find a parking space available. Went to CVS Pharmacy and bought some dark chocolate for hubby and some Valentine cards. Then went to Marshall's and bought a new door mat. Oh, washed the car!
