Hard for Writing, due to a bit of shaky/tremor in the fingers

Hello:
For the past few years, I have a trouble of writing, i.e. writing check, shopping lists and etc.
I am in good health except this, annoying health issues.

I've been Gabapentine for leg-pain(mild), Meloxicum for Arthritis for my spine. Fortunately, both of those meds
have been tremendously helping to alleviate discomfort and pain I have for years.

Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello, Amanda....My husband is going to a Chiropractor for 2 months...It is working...Except today the weather is horrible and his legs
hurt....I also have Arthritis....I just go with it....
I would suggest to go to a Doctor...Or a Chiropractor...
My husband also has Cancer...It's dormant now....It's not nice to have a hole in your stomach...He never complains...He is living!!!!

I have the same problem and the more I try to stop the shaking in my hand, the more it shakes. For checks, you could have a stamp made with your signature and clear doing that with the bank or just use your initials.

As for shopping lists, if it bothers you a lot and is only in one hand-you can learn to write with the other hand. I can do this but it’s takes too much time so my husband learned to read my scrawl. I almost never write checks. I use cash or debit, mostly cash.

with me its my wonky head because i have ear problems i wanted to wash my hair but i guess i better not--all these storms all arround us sure mess me up

Off thread, sorry, dormant, 🤦🏻‍♀️, been trying to think of that word for months 😂, my husband's lung cancer is dormant as well. Thanks @peppermint

I have the same problem. It comes & goes. Doctor calls it "Essential Tremor." It's not Parkinsons & it's not serious; it's just annoying.
When writing a check, I found it easier to print; the break between letters helps; it sort of "resets."

Same problem as long as I can remember my penmanship has been illegible due to hand tremors.
