Harnessing the power of poo to survive

I'd have to smell one & see :)
Oh no, you would not want that. Two years ago a farm locally decided to use human 'fertiliser' on its fields. The smell was shocking and residents could not go outdoors. I remember cycling thru the nearby village and it was awful. Trying to cycle and hold your breath does not work.

I hope it wasn't worse than chicken fertilizer. It it was, I'm sorry for you! When I was growing up, my parents and our neighbors both raised chickens. Each one had about 3 houses each. Our neighbors pasture was close to our house and each summer, he would spread chicken manure on his pasture. We didn't have an air conditioner so we had to leave our windows open or else burn up. That stuff smelled and then it would rain and that would make it worse.
