Has anybody written their own autobiography?

If you have, do you see value in posting it publically for others to read and learn from? Or would that make you feel uncomfortable knowing strangers are reading about your life?
I appreciate all opinions!

I did not, but before I retired I worked as a support person for a lady with Cerebral Palsy. She wrote her autobiography, mainly as a learning tool for folks who maybe did not know a lot about CP, or a person who is disabled. Her main message was that a person with a physical disability is not JUST the disability. She graduated high school and college, lives independently (with staff help) and is doing well for herself.

If I wrote mine, folks would know what not to do. Kids and grand kids are all doing better than I ever did, so perhaps their observations were sufficient.

I thought that an "Autobiography" was one written by
the subject!

A "Biography" on the other hand is one written by another
person, or am I wrong again?

Mike.
