I have seen quail eggs at the grocery store and have always been curious about them. Right now I am streaming the finale of Master Chef and one of the cooks is incorporating them into his dish.
So, now they have my attention and I would like to try them. Has anyone used them? I have read they take less time to cook and are used often in Asian cooking. What do you think of them, if you have tried them?

yes I've had Quails eggs often... although usually when I'm out for breakfast. However, I have cooked them on occasion and they only take half the time of hens eggs... maybe 2 minutes max , then you have to stop the cooking by running them under cold water. Simple as that..they taste like normal eggs, tbh!! PITA to peel them tho'.. takes ages if you've cooked a lot at once..
