I did some Craig's List selling and buying years ago. Luckily, no bad experiences.
I think Ebay favors the seller but I've never sold on Ebay. I do purchase there a good bit. I have had very good luck with ebay sellers. I always go with those who have 100% positive feedback or close to that. A very few times I've had to open a case against a seller when I used Paypal but now I don't and just try to work things out with the sellers. Ebay works well for me. It's interesting to learn what selling there is like.I had sold on eBay for many years, as Holydolly mentioned, eBay favors the buyer and many crooks take advantage of that. I would NOT recommend selling on eBay.
As a buyer ebay is fine, I still buy there occasionally when what I would have bought on Amazon is eligible for free shipping.I think Ebay favors the seller but I've never sold on Ebay. yes and there are literally thousands of private sellers now telling the same story..As a buyer ebay is fine, I still buy there occasionally when what I would have bought on Amazon is eligible for free shipping.
I will never sell on ebay again, both ebay and Paypal turned a blind eye to obvious buyer fraud and screwed me as the seller, on 2 different occasions.
I still buy from private sellers there primarily but have noticed there are more business sellers now but they usually have lower feedback scores so I avoid them. I want a good experience.yes and there are literally thousands of private sellers now telling the same story.
Ebay doesn't care for the private seller at all now.. it's business sellers which are the backbone of that company now..
