I think Ebay favors the seller but I've never sold on Ebay. I do purchase there a good bit. I have had very good luck with ebay sellers. I always go with those who have 100% positive feedback or close to that. A very few times I've had to open a case against a seller when I used Paypal but now I don't and just try to work things out with the sellers. Ebay works well for me. It's interesting to learn what selling there is like. :rolleyes:

As a buyer ebay is fine, I still buy there occasionally when what I would have bought on Amazon is eligible for free shipping.
I will never sell on ebay again, both ebay and Paypal turned a blind eye to obvious buyer fraud and screwed me as the seller, on 2 different occasions.

yes and there are literally thousands of private sellers now telling the same story..

Ebay doesn't care for the private seller at all now.. it's business sellers which ar the backbone of that company now..

I still buy from private sellers there primarily but have noticed there are more business sellers now but they usually have lower feedback scores so I avoid them. I want a good experience.
 
I've sold on Amazon and it was good. Got rid of books and DVDs, made some useful money. It was safe and easy.
