Has Anyone Gone Shopping or in a Business Without A Mask?

My post office still has a mask mandatory sign up, and my vet sends a tech to your car to pick up your animals. Other than that, many stores just have a CDC compliant sign on the door, and the understanding is that if you’re fully vaccinated, you don’t have to wear a mask. The percentage of people wearing masks is now in the small minority, and it’s nice to breathe freely without steamed eyeglasses...

We're lucky to live where we have never had to wear a mask to shop, nor has there ever been any lockdowns. The only store around these parts that tried a mandatory mask was Dollar General. Funny thing, as soon as their customer base dropped off dramatically, the mask mandate disappeared. Outside of DG, and a few eating places that wouldn't allow anyone inside to eat, there has never been any real changes to our lifestyle. Everything went on as before.

I was at Target on Weds,no longer did I have to wear a mask, ditto when I was in dept store Kohl's though some people were still wearing them
Yesterday, when my friend Thora&I went grocery shopping ,we didn't wear masks though we had them in our purses just in case. I asked cashier, she said if 'you're vaccinated, you don't need to wear them. We're assuming customers are being truthful'.

The only place I've gone without wearing a mask is the state-sponsored regional farmer's market. The sheds are open on the sides and there is plenty of room for social distancing.

I spoke to one of the clerks at the local Wegman's grocery store and she told me that they will be allowed to remove their masks at work starting July 1st.

I was concerned that we might see a spike after the Memorial Day weekend but so far that has not happened.

Infections are way down in my area but so is testing so it's hard to know exactly where we stand.

I think that I'll hang up my mask on the first of July if nothing changes between now and then.

Yes I have. In most places here there are signs saying masks are optional if you have been vaccinated. In the grocery store, it is about half and half, but all employees still wearing them. I do still carry a mask with me when I go out, though.

I went to the grocery this morning and masks are not required anymore but I wore mine anyway as did some others including employees and shoppers. I will see how things go as time passes, and will eventually go mask-less. For as often as I go anywhere in public, wearing one is isn't much of a hardship anyway.

I watched part of a baseball game on TV today and stands were packed and no masks.

We are still required to wear masks in shops and on public transport.Have never had to wear them outdoors.Won’t have to wear one when in my seat at the cricket today.

I went to CVS tonight and did not wear a mask because they said it was optional if you are vaccinated. Since I am I did not wear my my mask. Only one person in the store was wearing a mask! I was surprised. It felt good not to wear one! Got my stuff and got out of there.

First time I’ve worn a mask in two weeks, was yesterday because I had to stop at my hospital to explain a bill I got from them. I used their emergency room two weeks ago and the bill was out of this world. As luck would have it, they have an outside source do their billing. Wonder how many mistakes on every bill that goes out.
