Well, wcwbf, here in the Pocono ski area, Camel Back, we're squeaking out about 2 inches, but tomorrow, it's supposed to be 35 F.

Raining hard here in NJ. Maybe snowing in Sussex County.
slight chance fore some flakes early on Thursday.
during my first year teaching (2nd graders), one of the boys lost his little mind when he saw flakes falling. he was zooming around the room hooting & hollering. the rest of the kids were even looking at him like he had lost it. then we find out he had lived his entire life in FLORIDA until his family moved up to PA before the beginning of the school year. soooo, we all put on our coats and ran around outside catching snow flakes. when i explained to principal why we took that unscheduled break, he totally agreed it was the right thing to do.
any time there was snow in the overnight forecast, i gave "homework"... do a snow dance!!

Well, of course! I live in the middle of Canada and we have been "blessed" with the white stuff for the last month and a half. By the way, a Colorado Low is coming on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we'll be "blessed" with more snow. Dreaming of a White Christmas? Around here we are guaranteed to have a white Christmas.

Funny you should ask. Big ole flakes are falling right now but according to our forecast, there should be no appreciable accumulation.
i think there were a few ski areas that opened up this weekend... at least in a limited way.

Above live highway webcam link is at Kings Beach at the Lake Tahoe, Truckee River outlet. Most of Tahoe received 3 to 5 feet of snow the last 3 days that shows as roadside snowbanks above cars. Likely drive up Tuesday for a couple days skiing.
