Has anyone had to deal with noisy neighbours?

Headphones( industrial )arrived yesterday and me and o/h are really happy cos we can't hear the neighbours when we put them on. An inconvenience to us and expense but we think we have solved the problem until we are in a position to move. So FastTrax if I may say kindly, we tried different methods to blot out the noise from our Polish neighbours (I'm half Austrian by the way and my history takes me back to Poland) and we did indicate that perhaps their noise was a bit much for all the neighbourhood but the point is we have gone out of our way to let them have the life they want even though it was detrimental to us. That is what I'm about. We have changed our life to accommodate the life they wish to live. By the way I wrote papers which were published for Equal Opportunities in F.E ( Further Education, Nursery Nurses) so I really hope now you now know where I coming from.

Thank you Autumn. By the way I have a picture of my Austrian mum playing the accordion. I have noted it here that she died when I was 1 year and 1/2 due to a violent assault by my father. But I was interested that she played an accordion at such a young age. Was it the instrument of the day? Also my mother's name was Hubaczek which I chose to take in her memory, is that Polish? I have been told it's Polish but I found it goes back to the Czech Republic which I have a family history for.

Thank you FastTrak that is so kind of you. You mentioned about 'God' in a previous thread and I I just wanted to say I do read my bible and listen to Joyce Myers. Not everyone's cup of tea as they say in England but it's good for me. Despite my background and I only touched the surface with the death of my mother I just want to be a good person. Someone once said what would I want on my gravestone and I said I just want to say I tried to be good, kind and help people. By the way I shall be cremated Thanks again FastTrak.
