I just saw a funny over the top skit on Tosh.O about these Swedish herrings. The people there were uncontrollably gagging just from the odor and the ones who tasted them got sick. I'd be in the gagging category I'm sure. Has anyone here ever tried these Swedish Fermented Herrings? If so, did you like them or hate them?

Thank you, but NO thanks. Why eat something that smells so bad? Brings to mind; garlic.
(Enough to bring you to your knees.)

Maybe I'll get some to use as a weapon.

I'm just the opposite with garlic Falcon, I can eat a couple of cloves raw to ward off a cold and always enjoy the smell of it cooking in savory dishes. But I think this herring would be different for me.
