Has anyone used these sites?

Like Q-bids or any auction site? I pretty much understand how they work but I would like to hear someone's advice on how it worked for them.

Do you think you can save a few bucks or is it a money losing scheme? And yes, I have been tempted to try it.

Before using Q-bids you might want to try Q-tips...

I briefly looked at Q-Bid, I think I had seen a TV commercial for it. What I got out of it was that I had to make an up-front payment of some amount in order to bid.

Being tighter than a Scot's purse I didn't pursue it further. The negative-bidding system has always confused me.
