Has anyone watched House of Cards series?

I was totally in grossed with it. I saw it before the last election. Felt like life imitating art. What did you think?
 

British is better, did not get through the first episode of the American. I love British TV, checking in to getting some streaming, Acorn. Went to the library tonight and checked out a couple of seasons of Midsomer Murders.

Yes, I liked it, too.

I think it was called....something like.. "To Play the King"..
But, one of "our cousins" could probably tell us, for sure.

The British series was called House of Cards. Much shorter than the American version which I watched to the bitter end. Funny how some TV series can run forever yet feel fresh. Then there are others that should have stopped much earlier.
