Has Anyone Watched Mad Men?

It's from awhile back and on Netflix now. I'm not sure if it started on Netflix but there are 7 seasons. It is about the advertising industry in the 1960's and about a particular advertising agency full of real characters that are like a soap opera almost. I'm enjoying binge-watching it. Many of the events such as the Kennedy assassination are also included in the show.

I agree, very well done! I just love Don Draper, he's so handsome! The cast and writing are fantastic!
 

That was my favorite show for years. It was sad to see it end. It was like reliving the sixties everytime I tuned in. Most enjoyable. :love_heart:
 
I remember when the Draper family went on a picnic and when done just shook all of their trash from their picnic blanket on the grass. One of those sixties moments that we would never do these days.

I forgot all about that scene. And of course the kids were in the backseat not wearing seat belts.
 
I watched it when it first aired. Then, they disappeared for a year or more, and when they finally brought it back, I had lost interest.
 
Yes, I watched a few episodes, because I got to meet someone who was in a few episodes (about 5 or 6) of the show. His name is John Sloman and he played a few episodes where he was planning an add campaign for Heinz Beans. Really. He is the brother of a friend of mine . My friend passed away last year and John came up. Met him then. Nice guy. Look him up to find his episodes (or not). Here is his picture. So, if you see his episodes, you can say you know someone who knows him. LOL
