I'm so sorry you suffered such callous treatment and terrible indignities at the hands of those who were charged with caring for you.

My advice - if you trust your DIL with seeing your naked behind, have her take photos of the sores when you're released today so you have evidence of the results of this facility's "tender loving care."

Yes, that's what I understood from her own post. Late afternoon Wed, she'd be leaving.

And after her last post here on Tuesday,
then she did put a reaction on a post, yesterday (Wed) at 2pm afternoon, eastern time.

I thought she was likely waiting for the last release papers at that time.
And I assumed she's busy since then with the transition.(which is exhausting too)

So it's not that long as it seems.

And sometimes a first home health person comes for initial evaluation, the next day, even on a holiday.
Speaking from experience with dh.
(Last Thanksgiving)

Pepper Could be busy with that and family etc.

Just my ideas.

@Pepper, thanks for bringing up an unpleasant situation that any seniors might encounter. We need to discuss these things. It’s sad that it’s a reality nowadays.
