Have you been "on the fence" about making a decision sometime?

I had to purchase a new heat/air system a few years ago. With it, I also purchased a HVAC maintenance contract and have renewed it each year because I don't know anything about these systems. I received a notice today that it was time for me to make an appointment for them to come out and inspect this equipment. Now if the Covid virus wasn't going around, I would not hesitate one bit about calling them and making this appointment but this virus is making me have second thoughts. They come into the house and check out the thermostat and then check the unit downstairs also. I just went to their Facebook page and they are saying they will be wearing masks, practicing social distance, etc. to make their customers and employees safe. I just can't decide which is the best to do. Part of me says to go ahead and have it done but the other part says not to. I can't decide. What is your opinion?

If they're wearing PPE and they're working in a separate room to where you and your household are, I don't see any problem.

In the last month (during lockdown) I've had 2 seperate workman here at the house

In addition to what Holly recommended, I would have windows open in all of the places possible....

That is, If it is necessary for them to come at this time. If not, I would postpone it.

I wouldn't be able to open windows and air my house out because for some reason, they are stuck. It's been so long since they have been opened I'm guessing that's why they don't won't to open. I have thought about postponing it until later if this virus does get under control, then I could call them up and start it back but until then, I think I would feel more comfortable not doing it. I would rather be safe than sorry. Thanks everyone for your opinion!

Call and ask if you can postpone the visit to a later time and explain why. Ask too if postponing will affect the warranty.
I had thought about calling them and asking about postponing but I hadn't thought about the warranty. Thanks for this suggestion!
I just called them and they told me I could postpone it until I was ready for them to come out. She said it would not effect my warranty and that a lot of people were postponing because of the virus. Thanks everyone! I feel better now!

I am definitely having trouble making decisions. What to have for dinner isn't so bad, but which roofer to hire or should I fix up my house and continue to live here, sell it and buy a smaller home or go into a senior living situation. I just can't make up my mind.

Yes, but those can be life-changing decisions, and therefore very difficult for anybody in your position of having to make such decisions.
