I don't know why your phrase, Potholes stories,I'm glad I don't drive anymore for lots of reasons and Potholes can really cause a lot of car damage.
In prior years we've had lots of Potholes.
I have a friend who sued the city for car damages. They paid him for the damages
Anyone have any Potholes stories?
Thanks for that unique Potholes story all the way from Dallas, Doug.A couple of years ago, Dallas was paving the roads. There was a section between "paved and unpaved" that dropped considerably. I didn't see it and ran over it too fast. Not only did I get a flat tire, the wheel was so bent that I needed to replace that as well. We don't have a lot of genuine potholes, but the roads sure are rough.
It's weird. There is a street near our house where they entirely paved over a stretch but the one stretch that continually has potholes they just dump asphalt on them as you described. It's been years since it's actually been repaved. This town is always claiming the don't have the money for street work, so now and then they just dump asphalt or loose gravel into the potholes, which washes up the next big rain.
