I checked AI earlier and it defined online clique as "an exclusive, tightly-knit social group that forms within a digital community, platform, or online space."I've been sitting here wondering how one would define an "online clique." Serious question... maybe I'm the only one who doesn't know, but how would it be recognized as that vs. simply a group of people who became close friends online and share interests, so there's a lot of laughing, camaraderie, etc.? Of course it would be easy to tell in a "real life" setting, but having trouble with putting it in an online scenario.
I think it's natural to gravitate toward those we agree with, but most of us recognize there are many opinions here, and try to give each other space. I hope we do anyway.
