Have you ever been expelled or kicked out of something?

My Ancient History high school teacher would invariably catch me with chewing gum, no matter how I tried to be surreptitious about it and would throw me out of class and fail me for that day.

Yes, I was expelled from a girls boarding school in Toronto when I was 13
I truly hated the school was trying to get my parents attention,on purpose I got in with 'bad group'
We had a social studies teacher from Wales who was a terrible teacher ,even before I decided to go with the 'bad group' she didn't like me from day 1
One of the maintence men who didn't like her either, gave us a key to her room we ransacked it.I put Vaseline jelly on the toilet seat,we sprayed her perfume all over the room etc. Of course somebody squealed,we got caught. The headmistress said she knew it was us,I said some smart aleck remark 'well if you have proof ,lets see it' She didn't like my reply,my parents were very angry with me,I didn't care,I was a 'happy camper'. knowing I wasn't coming back to the school ever again

Got kicked out of high school for skipping school too much. Finished education in Army.
Got fired just once working at a Ford dealership. The foreman gave me a job to do, on a customers car, and I told him that I had no idea how to fix it. Anyway, I screwed it up and got canned. Best thing that ever happened to me.

I got suspended from school in the 8th grade for getting caught smoking in the bathroom. In my defense I just wanted friends at that age and would hang out with anyone who would talk to me. I was very isolated. Oh my mother loved it. Something else to rage at me about. Anyway, I smoked a few years in my early 20's but quit young. Something I'm glad for.

I got kicked off a Kibbutz once for calling in the local police (who were Arab police from Bethlehem) on a guy on the kibbutz who shot a pet dog. They told me I was being asked to leave because I'd had sex with a guy, but that had been going on for a while whereas they asked me to leave the day after the police thing.

I was never expelled but got detention many times for cutting class. Once my girlfriend and I went to New York to see the morning TV shows that were live or taped, back then they were all free.
We got front row seats and when the camera scanned the audience we waved like crazy. What we didn't know was that the show was on in the teachers lounge and we were caught red handed.
We both got detention for a week and our parents were called.
I wasn't thinking about school at first, but hehe I have to say that I excelled at being expelled or kicked out of something.
I attended 3 different high schools, and was suspended numerous times at each school. I was never a bigtime criminal or anything, getting suspended for smoking in the ball dugout, ditching classes or just being late were my biggest sins.

Oh, I guess my sister and I did get kicked out of Pamplona in 1967. We thought it would be "fun" to go to the running of the bulls. We stepped off the train and were immediately asked by the Guardia where we were staying. We were going to just "hang out". They promptly put us back on the train, telling us that this was no place for unaccompanied teenage girls. On later reflection, I recognize that being there was a very, very bad idea, what with the ramped-up testosterone raging through town. We would not have been safe.

And I did get kicked off a beach in Portugal for wearing my skimpy French bikini, which was against the law. Same year. Same teenage brainlessness.

I was expelled from Sunday School for daring to question what we were being taught from the Bible.
Were you happy with the outcome?

I've been expelled by a dentist, (as someone else mentioned), because I had the cheek to answer him back when he said sarcastically, "I suppose you want me to repair your teeth", to which I question I answered: "You can please yourself"!

Well, now, it wasn't quite that bad  . If I remember rightly, I met a guy at a party, he said he wanted to take me out for a nice dinner right then, we took our separate cars (luckily!) & met at a fancy restaurant, he tried lying to the host/hostess (can't remember which it was) & said we had reservations, they couldn't find our name on the reservation list, told us sorry, he waited 'till their back was turned, said "Cmon, there's a table over there" & was headed for it (with me standing there stunned at what he was trying to do), they saw him and told us to leave. And was I glad I took my own car since I was able to tell him this wasn't gonna work out & left.

Well, yes, as a matter of fact.

When I was 18, I was engaged to a young Catholic gentleman and, to appease his mother, we enrolled in the Pre-Cana (pre-marital counseling) classes and I agreed to attend "conversion" classes. I lasted two sessions in the conversion class before I was invited to leave and I think we actually made it through three of the Pre-Cana classes before I got us kicked out. I had a big mouth back then. I still do.
Nothing wrong with a big mouth - as long as you're saying what needs to be said. 😁
