Have You Ever Dreamed About Being Rich?

Sure. Especially daydreaming occasionally when a young adult. But long ago as a counterculture person, veered away from a wealth oriented lifestyle direction to one of living my life for worthwhile experiences most anyone of modest means might enjoy. Especially those that don't require wealth like enjoying the natural world, the universe, and being a creature within it. I don't spend any time dreaming about owning expensive material items like homes, cars, and the endless list of retail items envied by those that do.

Yes, but just daydreaming. I'm not motivated by money, and I'm not willing to do a lot of things that would be required to become rich.
If I became rich, my life wouldn't change much. I doubt if anyone would know I'm rich, unless I told them -- which I would not.

Oh, yes indeedy. Here's my prayer: " Please God, give me the chance to prove that becoming filthy rich won't change me." LOL.

No, really, I wouldn't want to be *filthy* rich.....just a little *grimy* rich would be fine, maybe even *dusty* rich. Rich but not riche.
Y'know, when the mechanic says, "Ma'am, that's gonna be $1100 to fix that rattle in your car", I could just wave my American Express Gold-Plated Silver Deluxe Extra-Speshul Charge Card at him and sail out the door unperturbed... THAT kind of rich.

That would be the wise thing to do in order to prevent people from declaring themselves be long-lost, but now suddenly-found family members who bear an uncanny resemblance to vultures.

Sounds like your life is centered around what’s really important.

I was rich when I was married to the Secret Service agent. I had no reason to work, so I didn't. for 30 yrs I used my time to volunteer. I worked as a vet tech gratis in charge of the cats in the clinic as well as all surgeries. Loved surgery!! I volunteered at the local shelter all the time, taking dogs home for timely medications, and so on. I volunteered as a medic on the local rescue squad days and nights. At one point the courts gave me custody of my 3 yr old grandson so that's when I really went to work! What a perfect joy he was. He's all grown now and I'm all old.

I guess in thinking about it all I did work but just not for money . I was rich in a way that I had dreamed about when I was a kid.
