Have You Ever Eaten.....?

Just remembered in 8th grade, our French teacher (who was actually French) brought Escargots for us to try. A few kids wouldn't even look at them, even though they're not the same snails we see in yards. I tried a couple. They taste like shrimp. I told the teacher, "They're so small; how many would people have to eat?" She said, "Not very many; you're supposed to eat them with a lot of French bread."

Peaches and dumplings? Way easier than peach cobbler. My mother used to make it and I loved it. Use can of peaches, sugar or sweetener to taste and canned biscuits, each biscuit pulled or cut into 3rds or quarters. Add cinnamon and boil until dough is done. I hadn't made it in years until a couple of weeks ago. I also made Bisquick's Impossible Broccoli Pie for the first time in several years. Bisquick doesn't list baking powder in it's recipe but it's needed. My son and whoever else I ever served it to really liked it. Basically it's a quiche. I use this recipe minus the chicken.

Have you ever had either of these two things?

I've not made or had the broccoli and chicken quiche but it looks good. As for the peach cobbler with the dumplings...never made it but I'm sure I've eaten it before.
