Have you ever made a drastic change to your looks ?

I remember having a beehive, with super hold hairspray. I dyed my hair which went from brown to red to blonde to black n back to blonde, once I got pregnant I quit dying it. It’s brown with gray now I never tried to cover the gray I was kinda looking forward to all gray but I still have a lot of brown.

I’m far too young to remember that Liberty .......

You also never came from Ohio...lol. Was in high school when this fad was the "rage". And putting angora around your boyfriend's class ring. Good times. The best music ever!

Lol...I think dying our hair was drastic enough back then.

I haven't made any myself but Mother Nature has made plenty - all gradual, none sudden

I made two changes:
Growing a beard, twice, and deciding that was not me.
Retiring from the Navy and getting out of uniform. This one seems to be working for me.

Yeah, I thought that too. I feel like the only one, but according to what's been said already, no I've never that drastically changed my looks. Always been recognizable. I feel dull compared to everyone else here.

When I was in my 30's I went to a new beauty salon to get a cut and perm. I told the hairdresser what I wanted and she went to work. She had 2 other customers, older than me, who were having the same done. I was under the hair dryer watching her finish up the other two. The hairdresser was styling my hair and when she finished, my hair do was exactly like the other two before me! She only knew how to do one hair style. It made me look 20 years older than I was. LOL.

I knew a woman who could never pass her test, so never got a license and did women's hair in her basement. Every one of those women, young or old, came out with the same hairstyle. Her home business didn't last long.

Chic ? Dull ? NEVER, you’re fabulous ! maybe members who’ve had nose jobs etc. don’t feel comfortable sharing that information with the rest of the world ?
