Sometimes in life some bridges hafta be burned. I have stood there with the matches and made the decision at times even though I didn't want to but had to. Lit the flame and walked away. My relationship with my father is one example. It got to the point where I had no choice. I don't regret it.

Yep, I pulled my string on my favorite kite when I was a kid. The string broke when I pulled on it and my kite flipped and flopped all the way down and crashed into the ground. When we found it, it was completely smashed...I never made another one! But I was glad I built one and had a chance to fly it...

My initial, reaction on reading the title was: Probably... what string?

Regarding actual string, I've pulled a few threads on my clothes that I ended up wishing I hadn't.

When I bought my first house, I bought some new curtains.
You know they have 'string' either end and you pull one end to scrunch them up and make pleats type look?
Well, no-one told me to tie a knot in one end so you don't pull all the 'string' all the way through did they. Bah!
