Have you ever required an Ambulance?

WAY TO MANY..... You still active?.
No I retired years ago but was active for over 10 + years. I did a lot of subbing on overnighters and on 2nd duty a lot. We also ran some high risk and certain calls like the Reeves call. Our company was always running somewhere as we covered 3 counties 24/7 and did some calls that went over the bounds as we got closer to DC.

On one occasion we had 3 life threatening calls in the same 2 hours: one a MVA at an intersection that required Pegasus (Helcopter ), Just down the street a car had not made the curve and ended up perched on a split rail fence with the drivers gonads resting on top of a rail. Couldn't get him out w/o the jaws of life, and the third was mine, a 4 monthe baby boy that had spinal meningitis B as I tried to get an iv in, his BP had gone down so that was impossible. He died as I carried him into the ER

I was shot in the back of the head, my knee cap was bowed off by the rockets, had pieces in my black , some Army guys were circling, in a helicopter , and saw all the dead bodies, and came down , a building had fallen on me, they picked me up, I woke up in the hospital three months later, the helicopter guys saved my life.

Wow. Very lucky you were spotted. Otherwise you could have died in the field

After a procedure to set my broken fibula, for some reason the surgeon ordered an overnight stay in the hospital. Where the surgery took place and the hospital were about 2 miles away. He wouldn't let my aunt transport me and called an ambulance. It was like getting service from the Three Stooges. The gurney wheels wouldn't deploy, so one kept kicking it. Great for a person that's just had surgery. The two mile excursion cost over $500 and that was back in 2008.

When my mom passed in 2006, I had to call the rescue squad. They transported her, but I followed in my car.

Only once - when I passed out on the floor - woke up - passed out - and repeat. Covid-19 in March 2020.

Wifey rang for an Ambulance and they said it would be at least 4 hours - so she bundled me into the car and took me herself. That was the start of my Covid-19 advertures. Almost 5 years ago and still not 100% better!
