Have you ever swallowed something inadvertently?

Not quite related to the subject, but one night I was riding my Harley home from work and a June bug, or something big, smacked my upper lip and raised a welt like the size of a grape. Hurt like heck for a few days. The next day I bought a shield for my helmet.

Also not related but my husband was riding his motorcycle down the freeway and was hit in the shoulder by bird poop. He said he thought he'd been shot. :laugh:
 
Yes, but I was young, and had yet to learn how salty it tastes. From that day forward, I spit instead of swallow.
Ugh how do I delete what I just said? MODS STAT!
 
I accidently drank some Kettle descaler once, I'd sprinkled it in the kettle of boiling water as per instructions, left it for half an hour while I went off to do something else, forgot it was in there and poured myself a glass of what I thought was warm water, I went to A&E, I don't think they believed anybody could be that stupid, they thought I had tried to commit suicide !

My brother used to tell a story of him and a friend in N.Y.C.and he got pooped on by a bird, his Buddy looked up and got a mouthful.
Knowing my brother,alcohol may have been involved...L.O.L.
