Or simply put ... do you believe in ghosts ? :) What have you seen to make you a believer ? Any good stories to tell ? The only spooky stuff that goes on around here is when one sock mysteriously disappears from the dryer. Other than that , I'm not too sure I believe in spirits/ghosts . What about you ?
 

These fellas stop by to see me once in awhile but for some reason it's always only after I've had a few too many adult beverages. :drunk:

Yes I have seen ghosts or shades of people who must have died yet cling on to a place. It wasn't scary or blood curdling. It was just strange, but when they saw me watching them they disappeared - as in vanished. I thought I was seeing people in costume until that moment.

One night I woke up and standing beside my television was a male figure. I could see through him to the wall behind him. It was not frightening . He disappeared after about thirty seconds. I was more intrigued than scared.
 
I have nothing to report but I believe in something, not sure what.

Spirits and ghosts may come from within us as IKE suggested above or as Charles Dickens suggested in The Christmas Carol - “You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!”
 
These "strange" occurrences are just tricks that our minds play on us. If something isn't really there, you can't see it.
 
Absolutely. I've had several encounters with spirits. We had one living in our house when I was growing up. The house we currently live in has 3 spirits who live with us. They are not the evil kind, they are mischievous but still considerate. They have tried to "help" us from time to time with our remodeling. I don't actually see them, but I do see shadow people. My husband and I both "smell" them .. they smoke and we have to ask them to take it outside .. and they do. When we removed our tiny kitchen to make a larger one they "cooked" breakfast for us every morning until we got a stove back in there. At 7 am every morning we smelled bacon cooking. We live with them in this 100 year old house and we all get along just fine. And believe me we are very thankful that we have nice spirits here. My sister had evil spirits in an old house she had for a short while.
