Have you ever won an award- however minor?

Some stock options, a few associated with my work, but that's it.

Out in the storage shed in a big box I've got around three dozen or so wooden plaques and trophies that I've won shooting competitively with handguns.......they'll more than likely end up in a dumpster somewhere after I check out but I'll be gone so it probably won't bother me too much. :)

Kinda - Was a part of a foursome at a local charity golf outing. We finished dead last. As a recognition of our efforts, we were each given a sleeve of tennis balls. I think that was a hint....

I have been honored to receive six commendations (service awards) from the State Police for different acts.

Employee of the Month at the hospital system where I worked. I figure it was a reward for not going berserk and hacking everyone in my operation into many small pieces. I got $100, a plate of sandwiches for the office and a parking spot with my name on it in one of the garages at the main campus (which was a big, flopping zero as we worked at a remote office miles and miles away). Oh, and a certificate. Big whoop.

Answering this post makes one sound like bragging, but yes, I have had a few, swimming! Basket Ball, Golf, Boccee Ball, Sales Achievement? Public Speaking, Fund Raising

A bunch in high school for various art projects and an honorable mention for Irish dancing (I was in my 60's at the time.) I was inspired by Michael Flatley LOL Also, don't know if this counts, but 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree BB's Taekwondo - the last at age 78

Lots of dog show stuff. Best one was in 1975. At that time I was showing Tibetan Spaniels and OES in the UK but I also had a mutt. There was a national newspaper competition for the Mutt of the Year. I entered my mutt with the story of her life and I won second, really made me day and the silver cup with runner up engraved on it sat proudly among the show dogs trophies!!
