Have YOU heard or tried Prolotherapy

Today, I had six injections of Prolotherapy in my neck, and I suffered a fraction vertebra and whiplash from our car accident fourteen years ago... It is to stimulate the body's own healing and repair mechanisms I got 3 needles in both sides of my neck into the muscles. They froze it and then pushed this substance into the muscles of my neck. In a few days it should feel better, and should have it done again in two months. So, time will tell... right now it hurts like hell now that the freezing is out, but by this time tomorrow, the pain should be gone...

Knee pain/arthritis
Shoulder pain/arthritis
Hip/pain/arthritis
Tennis elbow
Whip lashes
Other Joints and ligaments

I have heard of it but never tried it. I have had stem cell therapy on one shoulder and A2M injections on one hip.

Like prolotherapy, neither are FDA approved and neither are covered by insurance or Medicare so they were expensive risks. Fortunately they both worked. The shoulder is going on four years and still good. The hip is going on three years and still good.

I have been told my lower back is not a candidate for either so my only option is spinal decompression.

PLEASE update on how the prolotherapy works or doesnā€™t work for you.šŸ¤ šŸ¤ 
 
This is the first time I have heard of it. It sounds promising. I am going to do some research on it. I sure hope it helps you deal with your medical issues, Mike.
 
Well, I only got it in one of my aching parts from the car accident, as if right now (and they told me) it's aching now that the freezing is gone... Had to take some morphine which I haven't taken for months... But they told me not to take Advil, or anything like that for the first 48 hours because it will take away from the effect... But time will tell... This session was free as my doc, and the rest of the docs were getting trained on this... It's quite expensive, but if it works, then I think it's worth it... time will tell... and I will let YOU all know how I am feeling as time goes on...
 
it's been 24 hours, body is aching, from the neck down, popped quite of few morph... But I can turn my neck a little more than I could... and have since the day of the car accident... I called the doc, and he told me, it hurts so much because of the 14 years of scar tissue...

In about 6 months I will do it again, and it should NOT hurt as much as it did the first time... Told me I will have this pain for four to five days... My pain level on most days is about a 5 - 6... right now it is 9+ ...and I didn't sleep last night...I will let YOU know in a few days where I am, and how much flexibility I will have... but I do have more than I have, as I said...
 
Yes ..... I had it done 2018 , [hip] I don't want to be too discouraging but, it did nothing for me.

Maybe [hope] you will experience better results . Keep us posted.

After prolo I tried stem-cell , both knees and hips ....... no help there either.
