Interesting tidbit... Here's a creature that would eat a decomposing skunk, yet wouldn't touch a hot dog.

On the way to the cabin, saw a coyote dining on a deer carcass on the side of the hwy
About 10 feet away, sat a turkey vulture
Just patiently staring
like 'when yer done with that....'

Told the wife I wasn't sure if Buzz was just happy to see us, or if he was giving me the big eye. as in maybe his next meal.

Only if you take them for walks on leashes.

When living up at our cabin, I acquired my little buddy

Golden Mantled are in the squirrel family, but look more like chippies

This guy was my bud
Followed me everywhere

He'd let me know if I was late in setting up dinner

I used him as my model when marketing my chipnic tables

Kind of a sad parting when we moved to town

I loved the idea of a kinkajou until I met one. We were sitting on the floor having drinks at a friend's house when the kinkajou came out and slurped up someone's scotch. Not sure if this was unusual behavior but a drunk kinkajou is not a good idea.

I can imagine! When we had company, ours liked to slink along the back of the sofa and stick that ten inch tongue in their ears.
