Oh yeah. I started buying things as soon as I got paid this month.
I bought at diff times, a snow globe to add to my collection, a red scarf..which I've always wanted at Christmas time, teeth whitening gel, and Bearpaw boots from HSN.
And, more weed to last for the month.

Maybe you could send a follow up request to Santa and relax the "nice" requirement just a notch. If you can live with that, given the Christmas rush and all, maybe he could still pull it off, but doubtful for Christmas. If that won't work, maybe you could leave a trail of chocolates that leads to your door and just see what happens. Although they may attract an animal, so you may want to think about that plan.I'm treating myself to artisan chocolates made by my favorite chocolatier. I only wish I had the nice boy that Santa promised me for Christmas to share them with.

It's insane isn't it? I'd get a decent house, take in more cats and just not worry about money. What do these people do?
OK, I'd probably do some spending but nothing whacky.
I asked my son in law to buy me a fancy flashlight a few years ago for walking the dog at night. I love it. It's like a spotlight.
