Have you seen the size of Ray Romano's House ?

I remember the last season it was on Ray Romano wanted one million an episode. So CBS cut the number of episodes to about 16, and at least 1 or 2 episodes were flash back episodes, so they wouldn't have to pay him for too many episodes.
..and the sad thing about it is like so many other comedy shows here and the US... it started to become monotonous and unfunny

His show (reruns, royalties$$$) are on cable everyday here. Sometimes i will dvr the series and save a show to watch when we need a good laugh. We both enjoy the family style shows from the old days! plus even though we've seen them before, at our age we don't always remember! šŸ˜‚
I think it's repeated all over the western world... It's on one of the Cable comedy channels here on constant repeat...as is Cheers and Frriends....

I've even watched it in Spain dubbed into Spanish... if you know the English version it's very weird listening to the voices in Spanish.....it doesn't quite work...

I've been a fan of Ray's since his stand-up, his part on Dr. Katz, and then his show of course. I still watch the re-runs.

I know the designer, Nate, from his days on Oprah. He's a wonderful guy who lost his partner while vacationing in the Tsunami area. Nate spent the day in the ocean saving lives.

That said, I don't really like his work. Too plain and drab for me. cozy is the last word I would use to describe Ray's house.

That house shows no signs of people living in it so it must be an investment that acts as a tax write-off.

It has the coldness of a resort and not the warmth of a house.

Everything they say in the video is meant to impress others.

As one possible use, I would expect them to rent it out to foreign digitaries visiting the US.

Good Point......I did think that it was a very cold impersonal house when I fist saw it but then I brushed it off thinking..well sometimes a big open plan house struggles to look cosy and lived in .. but your supposition sounnds very plausable

We do our winter snowbird thing in the more working class town next door to La Quinta. It doesn't look anything like that although it is on a small golf course. La Quinta is very upscale, it's not too far from Palm Springs. For some reason Ray has never had us over for any of his parties.

didn't you say you had no TV?.. if that's the case..then you wouldn't have seen this American comedy show starring Ray Romano.... he plays ''Raymond''

Old age and amnesia. There was a time when we didn't have a TV, most of our working lives in fact. In retirement a TV sits inside an attractive cabinet. Prospective house hunters have had an "Oh Wow!" with the jukebox and all of them have noticed that there's no TV. Open the doors of the cabinet, the reaction has been mixed. From; that's a good idea, to, I couldn't live without the tv.
