Have you tried Disney+?

Grampa Don

Yep, that's me
It has just about everything Disney ever produced. All the old Muppet shows are on it. I used to love them and I've been watching one each night. It's fun to see the guest stars as they were then. There is a list of all the shows and movies on it here. It's the only on line service I subscribe to, and it's worth 8 bucks a month to me.

Ken,

I know a lot of people love reality shows, my wife included. But, I can't handle them. Everything I've read about them says that they are staged and scripted with phony conflicts and problems. Apparently there is very little real in reality shows. I feel like I'm being taken for a sucker if I watch them.

I can see why they do this. If they really showed how people actually act and what they do it would probably be pretty boring and no one would watch. So, they jazz it up. But, it turns me off. I know that there is a whole film crew present and everything is carefully choreographed and pre-arranged. I don't mind fiction if it is labeled fiction, but to try to pass it off as non-fiction seems like an insult to my intelligence.

But, you might say "So what. Accept the fake and enjoy the show." That's a valid approach, but my grumpy personality can't do it.

Disney+ comes free on Roku TVs, so yes, I have Disney+. I don't watch much TV but my 3yr-old former foster son likes it when he visits over the weekend. I watch a series on Dis+ called The Madalorian. It's a spin-off of Star Wars that tells the background story of Yoda.
