I am getting low level laser therapy, also known as red light therapy. I may also start specialized eye drops if needed. Read about this at the link below.I’ve never heard of this. Please let us know about this.
Hoping all goes well Ronni. Sending love, light and healing thoughts your way....hugs.Time to take care of the glaucoma issue I was diagnosed with last year so I’m heading to surgery this morning for that and while I’m there they’ll also address the cataracts that are beginning to form. In two weeks I’ll get the other eye operated on.
Please send healing vibes, good mojo, thoughts and prayers, whatever your thing, that the surgeon has a steady hand and everything goes without a hitch!![]()
Late to see this second post Ronni, so happy things went well. Take care.Well…my pupil is the size of a dinner plate, I have to wear this ridiculous shield for the next 24 hours, then every night for a week, and the sheer number of drops I have to put in my eye 1-4 times a day rivals grains of sand on the beach!!
But I’m done and everything went well!!Thank you for sending love my way!

Not challenging you @Bretrick, but here’s the thing; my cataracts aren’t yet severe. My doc says that I’m 5-10 years away from a level of severity that would mandate the pressing need for lens replacement. But because of the urgency of the glaucoma surgery, he suggested, and I agreed, that we may as well do the cataract surgery too, because it was going to be necessary at a later point.Good Luck.
You got this. All will go well and your eyes will be better than they have been for years.
Round two. I’m heading to surgery this morning for my left eye.
Grumpy because I haven’t had coffee and I can’t eat breakfast. Well…I could have plain black coffee but eeew.
I’ll have to use store bought readers for the next couple three weeks until I can get new prescription glasses because my current ones won’t be of much use once the second eye is done. I was already closing the good eye so I could see more clearly through my glasses with the undone eye.
Please send positive vibes that this surgery goes as flawlessly as the last one!![]()
