Hearing aids and glasses

Do you wear both ? Which do you put on first ? when the hearing aids were fitted they put them on first then my glasses but I’ve been told since it’s easier the other way round, especially if you have varifocal lens

i wear reading glasses now, I had cataract surgery on both eyes which gave me perfect distance.
I don’t need hearing aids.

I do it both ways. I prefer with glasses off, but the extra fiddling is not enough when they are already on. So then I don't bother taking them off.

I don't need hearing aids yet but do need glasses for reading and I read a lot. I just put my glasses on when I get up and forget about them. No looking for them when I want to read something.

My husband used to say I have bionic hearing, so I don't need a hearing aid. I wear glasses and recently realized, even with a new prescription, I see better while on the computer using my Dollar Tree reading glasses.

Good question. I know I need the hearing aid soon. Never thought about this and I have to take my glasses off several times a day to clean them. Also, I switch back and forth between reader and regular glasses. They’re progressive but useless.

Just eyeglasses, I get pair a year with transition lenses from the VA for glaucoma and potential cataracts.

Glasses I have multi focals so they can just go on and stay on, for long distance and reading.

It doesn't seem to matter which I put on first, but when I wear a dust mask, it seems that everything gets tangled up.

Has anyone ever used the Apple airpods that are approved to assist with hearing. Nobody seems to pay attention to me when I’m wearing just one AirPod. Lots of folks wear one or both. It would be easier than fiddling with glasses and hearing aids.

Seems like a good idea I wonder if there would be much choice in the style of glasses though ?

do you think wearing airpods might be compatible with tinnitus?
Could alleviate symptoms?

Had my yearly Eye Test and Fitness to drive test done by my G.P. This is an on-going test here in all states in Australia, except
Melbourne, who think they are better than us. Don't understand it. My sister, who lives in Melbourne has turned 85 and she didn't need a test.

No, not in SA either - only if yo u have relevant medical conditions or you are over 70 and have a heavy vehicle or motorbike licence.

Over 70's with no medical conditions don't need a GP clearance for a car licence.

I wear both glasses and hearing aides. The thing about my hearing aides is they are bluetooth and Siri on my iPhone picks up random conversations and responds through bluetooth in my ears....very annoying. I usually say 'shut up Siri" to get it to stop.
I don't mind streaming music but Siri is very annoying

It is easier to put in hearing aids first, then glasses and keep the hair short around ears helps
