Heart-shaped stone

I had a blue granite looking stone about 5 1/2 inches across, a perfect heart! I really loved it. My daughter came to visit and she went crazy over it. So, I sent it to her. I wrote on the back, "From Mom and God."

i once bought a hundred year old log cabin because the rock fireplace had a huge heart shaped stone right in the middle of the chimney!

LOL, That cellar of yours sounds like a very Adventurous Place with lots of surprises. You haven't spotted Indiana Jones down there looking for treasure have you?

I WAS thinking that exact thing when I was working on it - this is like an archeological dig! If I had found Indy, that would be one thing NOT going out for the yard sale.

That's quite a stone and very unique. I would hang onto it. I don't know why I would keep it, except it would make a good conversation piece.

Years and years ago when I was in Scouting, we collected Indian arrowheads made out of stones. There were a lot of tribes in this area, so naturally, it was kind of easy to find stones, especially on the Appalachian Trail. I showed my collection to a family in my area that owned an antique shop and the lady offered me cash for my collection. It wasn't much and I didn't sell it, but I thought that it was cool being offered money for arrowheads.
