I wonder what I can look forward to in belonging to this group.

I am looking for people to share my "seniorship" with.... people, who like me, will listen/read and respect others' viewpoints. I am looking for a group to share my experiences with and who will share experiences with me. How long have you been with this Forum? what can you tell me about the people here and your experience with them?

We have many topics and all the help you need to get started. You can already read what's going on.

Petra, You can look forward to many different opinions on most subjects like breaking news, politics, people in the news, what's going on around the world. We have a lot of good old boys, that I can't help but tease. We get to learn about the different cultures from the many peoples around the world. Then there are some really funny cartoons and joke that the members find. Most of all we make good friendships among the members.
I hope you like it here and contribute whatever is on your mind.
As one of the guys pointed out, it helps if you fill out your profile, so we have a better idea who you are, and where you are coming from.

Ok then! Between Ina and Falcon, I feel right at home! thanks to both of you for your friendly and spirited welcomes.

I have already shared my point of view in one of the threads. Sharing that was good for me, emotionally and mentally. It helped me think about and "shape" the reason for my actions.

Great idea, this.......glad I signed up. I am from the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Just a question about your quote at the bottom of your messages - how do I add a quote to my own messages? Need help in navigating this site I guess.

Here's a question: I like your quote about Ethics at the bottom of your comments, tell me how I can add a quote to my own comments. Is it considered a "signature"?
 
Welcome Patra........I'm the forum "Rockr" (as in Classic Rock music) and Darth Vader (Halloween costume Avatar). You can find out more about each of us by looking at our Profile. Very good group of people here, but we can have different (sometimes "very" different) opinions on some things, but it's all interesting.

Sorry Ralphy1, but I do not understand your reference to the "King". Are you alluding to the Bible? Is it a metaphor? do you mean the LA Kings? Please be more precise.

Hi Lee, I am just starting to find my way around this site. I see you are from Canada as well. Have you had snow yet this Fall in Mcgregor? We have here in Alberta. Southern Alberta got it worse. Warming up by the end of the week they say. Weather seems to play such an important role here in Canada don't you think?
