I'm a retired professor living alone with my two Corgis in my small house. My wife is institutionalized in hospice in the late stages of Alzheimer's. I visit her every day. I spend my time teaching part time, serving as guardian for children who have been taken into care, and participating in the activities of the Unitarian-Universalist Church. I look forward to meeting everyone.
 

Hello Eltrippe. It sounds like you are treading a difficult path at the moment. I hope the conversations you have on this forum will take you out of yourself for a bit of respite when you need to regenerate. There are many interesting members to converse with and enough diversity of topics to allow you to find something interesting to talk about.

I'm from Australia and I really enjoy learning the view from the other side of the world. I'm always interested in people. Perhaps we will find common interests and get to know each other better.
