Welcome! Good for you Mojave! I'm doing the same thing. I recently added some Probiotics for gut health (pill form) and found that it curbed my appetite so I went with it, ate a big breakfast, no lunch, early light dinner around 4pm, and nothing after 4pm. I dropped 10lbs and feel great!
Fantastic ! Sounds like you are pretty much doing intermittent fasting without really calling it that. I do a similar thing but opposite in that I do not eat or drink anything with calories until 9:30 or 10:00 am which is a moderate sized meal I call my breakfast/early lunch. Then a light mainly protein based snack around 2:30 pm. And then eat my larger meal at around 6:00 pm. Which is the last thing I eat for the day. This allows me to shoot for a 14 to 16 hour non eating period (fasting ) period and a 8 to 10 hour eating period. I have lost 8lbs so far over a months time while back on this program.
